I'm Han Sophia, a multimedia creative based in Phoenix, Arizona, and I specialize in graphic design, illustration, and video production and editing.
From 2010 to 2015 I studied Graphic Design at the University of Nebraska–Omaha and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts. During that time I began freelancing, and also worked in a custom apparel shop, where I learned the ins-and-outs of screenprinting.
I've illustrated 7+ books, including "What's Going Down in Prairie Dog Town?" with a foreword by Dr. Jane Goodall.
Upon graduation, I worked at Lifegate Omaha as a graphic designer, videographer and video editor (2015-2017). While I returned to school to complete my second bachelor's degree (this time in Musical Theatre) I worked in Nebraska Wesleyan's marketing department (2017-2019). Next, I joined the Nebraska Alumni Association's marketing and communications team, where I worked from 2019 to 2022 as Associate Art Director.
Whether I'm creating striking visuals for a social media campaign, magazine ad, merch, package design, or a video that's going to be broadcasted for a football stadium full of university students about to graduate, I thrive whenever I get to collaborate with other sharp and constructive individuals to deliver something that's going to have far-reaching and lasting effects that leave a positive impact.
I love vibrant colors, oceanic gradients, striking imagery, and balanced typography. I like to think that I think like an animator... and as a theatre director. I love trying out new mediums and techniques―always thinking outside of the box.
I'm bilingual (Spanish), a thespian, singer, tik toker, cosplayer, traveler... and I'm always keeping my eyes peeled for the next thing that's going to inspire and challenge me.
If you're interested in my work, would like to collaborate, or would just like to say hello, please feel free to contact me.
